James J. Humbo is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Everths & Company. He also seats on the board of directors as the company secretary. Mr. Humbo and partners founded Everths in 2015, and under his leadership, the firm has grown as a leader in Human Capital, Management Consulting, Financial Advisory, Research and IT Consulting for institutional and retail clients. Today, the firm is trusted to serve policy makers, investors and organisations from the wide range of markets, industries and economies.

Prior to founding Everths in 2015, Mr. Humbo worked with Mantrac Tanzania Limited (Caterpillar dealership) for the Chicago based US multinational company serving in different roles for the period of four years. During his tenure at Mantrac, Mr. Humbo was advising multinational mining companies operating in Tanzania such as Barrick Gold Corporation, Anglo Gold Ashanti and Moolmans on varying issues cutting across engineering and management. His leadership was essential in improving productivity and efficiency for the multi billion dollars mining businesses.

Mr. Humbo earned an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in 2016 and a BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UDSM in 2010.
